God - Gods - Religions - Science

Christianity: There is only one true god (Jehovah). All other gods are false gods. We know this because it says so in the Bible. Kind of like we know that Al Gore invented the internet, because he said so.
Hinduism: There are many gods who all arise as a natural function of the unfolding of the supreme reality, Brahman. Jehovah is but one of these gods. The highest expression of humanity is to realize a convergence or identity of the individual consciousness with the ultimate consciousness.
Buddhism: Just like in Hinduism, although there is a tendency to look upon gods as largely irrelevant to the quest for enlightenment.
