‘Free’ energy technology goes on display

ireland.com - Breaking News - ‘Free’ energy technology goes on display

Technology developed by an Irish firm that allegedly defies basic laws of physics to produce free power today goes on public display for the first time.

Steorn is challenging worldwide cynicism over its claims to have stumbled upon a revolutionary discovery that creates clean, constant energy and could end the global fuel crisis.

Is it possible that things will soon begin to open up in the field of physics? There is a movement of some scientists called The Thunderbolt Project that asserts that we live in an Electrical Universe and that current cosmological theories that include unobserved phenomena such as black holes, dark energy and dark matter are held together by mathematical fictions, and fail to point back at the real world. You might notice that since the invention of the nuclear bomb, not one single practical invention has been forthcoming from the field of astrophysics, quantum physics or for that matter, most of relativity and special relativity.

We are still using the same technology that we have used since Newton, just with engineering refinement and skill. But, no new technology.

What bothers me, however, about this news story, is that it smacks of fraud, or possibly delusional thinking.  The usually accepted way of demonstrating new technological breakthroughs is to publish a paper in a journal.  This presentation seems a bit gimmicky.

Nevertheless, this may be a story to watch.

Skepticism is necessary and healthy, and we would be foolish to believe everything we are told. But genuine skepticism is about open-minded enquiry, not denial. This new website presents an investigation into the true meaning of Skepticism in Science.
