Wellness Times - Bakersfield’s Journal of Body, Mind and Spirit - Only Pay Doctors when We Are Well
This is one of Dr. Steve’s best ideas yet. I loved it, and it seems that many people I’ve talked to about this idea seem to agree. Why don’t we pay doctors while we are well, and stop paying when we are sick. In other words, for every so many numbers of people in a community, there would be a doctor assigned, and each family would pay him so much a month while they were well. Then, if they became sick, the person who was sick would stop paying. The doctor’s income would go down accordingly. Makes sense to me.
