Just now did a search on the CNN website for any story of theirs mentioning “climategate”.  Here is what I got:

Your search climategate did not match any documents

I find it really remarkable that a network that prides itself on comprehensive news coverage of events all over the world, wouldn’t have one story going at least that mentions what is exploding on the web: the climategate controversy in which emails and computer code for some prominent exponents of AGW (human caused global warming) were hacked and now made available for all to read on the internet.

So much of mainstream media types have pooh-poohed this development, saying that the emails don’t really indicate any problem worth worrying about, yet most people with any common sense are saying that this reflects rather badly on all of science, in that the entire notion of science driven research has been prostituted to ideological and political agendas.  Some are saying that this constitutes a crime against humanity and that the perpetrators of this fraud should be prosecuted.

The fact that Obama and his retinue on their way to Copenhagen for the Climate Change Crap Meet still prate the same old nonsense as if the developments of the last few days didn’t actually happen.  These demagogues are taking their contempt for truth to truly disturbing and even insulting levels.
